LD-50/LC-50 Testing
LC-50 Bioassay toxicity testing, that ensures safe handling and discharge of drilling fluids and cuttings into sensitive eco systems of offshore waters throughout the world, was conducted on the EGS drilling fluid products with successful results. These tests ensure that marine life is not harmed by these products. This U.S. EPA regulated testing as accepted as a standard by most countries throughout the world for the safe handling and discharge of drilling fluids.

Micro-Tox Testing
D-50 Microtox toxicity testing was conducted to ensure the safe discharge of EGS drilling and completion fluid products to surrounding areas without any detrimental environmental effects. The stringent regulations setforth by the Canadian EPA requires that all fluids utilized in the industry must pass a D-50 Microtox. This ensures that in the event of inadvertant contact of the fluid with plant and animal life, that no harm will come to them. This testing is accepted worldwide as a standard for ensuring discharge of drilling and completion flid products do not harm the environment.
